We used to say "Gold-Backed Private Credit Solutions" that's not wrong exactly, but it's not exactly right either.

Here's the problem with us using the term "private credit".

Not Private Credit. Not a Fund.

When sophisticated investors hear private credit, they picture their capital going to a borrower. At risk. Deployed. Dependent on that borrower's ability to perform.

That's not what happens here: YieldShield Aurum is structured as a direct bilateral private loan, not a pooled fund, not a managed vehicle, not a securitized product. There is no track record to audit in the traditional sense because each participation is a bespoke, 12 month direct lending arrangement.

Here your principal never reaches the borrower.

You purchase an insurance policy in your name with a leading US-based carrier. The insurer opens an account at your own bank. You transfer your funds there. Your principal moves through a traceable, custodial sequence, and stops there. The insurer mirrors that amount into a segregated, regulated non-depletion account as required by the borrower's bank.

The borrower accesses new credit extended by their bank against that balance sheet enhancement. They secure it with their own assets. They use it exclusively for gold transactions. Gold production pays your fixed monthly income.

Your capital never touches the borrower. It is insured from day one.

That's not private credit.

That's something else entirely.

That's a structure where your principal is insured, your interest is fixed, and your income comes from gold. And the insurance protecting your capital, has your name on the policy.

So we've changed how we describe it to better reflect what this actually is: principal-insured, direct bilateral private loan between an accredited investor and the borrower counterparty.

If you've been curious about what we do but the "private credit" label put you off, this post is for you. If this distinction matters to you, drop a comment or let's speak privately wellcomecapital.com/consult
