I spent twenty-five years in enterprise software, telecom, and data protection, turning invisible workflow misalignments into multimillion-dollar wins for Sun, PwC, Bell Canada, BMO Financial and Franklin Templeton.

I knew nothing about private debt, project finance, or private markets.

Then in 2018 I met a small Nevis-registered private wealth-lending platform that was quietly doing something no one else was: Put €10M+ into Tier-1 escrow → trigger regulated credit multiples → keep the original capital untouched while the engine ran.

Everyone else saw complexity. I saw the same pattern I had spent decades hunting: something rare, elegant, and unstoppable hiding in plain sight.

That intuition became Wellcome Capital.
